Blocking in wavelength-routed optical networks with heterogeneous traffic
Han-You Jeong,Seung-Woo Seo +1 more
TL;DR: A new analytical model is presented that can give an accurate estimation of the blocking probabilities in wavelength-routed optical networks with heterogeneous traffic and sparse wavelength conversion and well approximate theblocking probabilities of individual sessions, as well as the network-wide blocking probability, for a wide range of traffic intensity, burstiness, and heterogeneity.

Learning Compound Tasks without Task-specific Knowledge via Imitation and Self-supervised Learning
Sang-Hyun Lee,Seung-Woo Seo +1 more
- 12 Jul 2020
TL;DR: The key idea behind the method is to leverage a self-supervised learning framework to learn the hierarchical structure of compound tasks, and proposes a taskagnostic regularization technique to prevent unstable switching between sub-tasks.
Matching output queueing with a multiple input/output-queued switch
Hyoung-II Lee,Seung-Woo Seo +1 more
- 07 Mar 2004
TL;DR: The MIOQ switch requires no speedup and provides an exact emulation of an output-queued switch with a broad class of service scheduling algorithms including FIFO, weighted fair queueing and strict priority queueing regardless of incoming traffic pattern and switch size.

L+1-MWM: A Fast Pattern Matching Algorithm for High-Speed Packet Filtering
Yoon Ho Choi,Moon-Young Jung,Seung-Woo Seo +2 more
- 13 Apr 2008
TL;DR: By extending the length of the shortest pattern, this paper minimize the pattern matching time of the algorithm which uses multi-byte unit, and shows 38.87% enhancement in average.

Generation and performance analysis of frequency-hopping optical orthogonal codes with arbitrary time blank patterns
Chung-Keun Lee,Jin-Soo Kim,Seung-Woo Seo +2 more
- 11 Jun 2001
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new generation algorithm for frequency-hopping optical orthogonal codes (FH-OOC) by considering the time blank patterns between two adjacent symbols.
