QTL mapping of quality traits in peanut using whole-genome resequencing
Sun Ziqi,Xinyou Zhang,Qi Feiyan,Serkan AYCİL,Liu Hua,Qin Li,Xu Jing,Shi Lei,Zhang Zhongxin,Miao Lijuan,Huang Bingyan,Wenzhao Dong,Xiao Wang,Mengdi Tian,Jingjing Feng,Ruifang Zhao,Zheng Zheng,Xinyou Zhang +17 more
TL;DR: Whole-genome resequencing of a recombinant inbred population of 318 lines was performed to construct a high-density linkage map and identify QTL for peanut quality, finding two SNP sites that may be useful in the marker-assisted breeding of peanut cultivars with high oil contents.

Efficient diclofenac removal by superoxide radical and singlet oxygen generated in surface Mn(II)/(III)/(IV) cycle dominated peroxymonosulfate activation system: Mechanism and product toxicity
Serkan AYCİL,Joel Rabinovich +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , a new bi-metal oxide composite of MnO2-Bi2O3 as the peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activator was developed and utilized to construct an efficient oxidation system for diclofenac degradation and de-toxicity.

Single and combined toxicity effects of nanoplastics and bisphenol F on submerged the macrophyte Hydrilla verticillata
Serkan AYCİL,Sezen Arslan +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , the toxic effects of polystyrene nanoplastics (PS-NPs) and BPF and their combined exposure on the submerged macrophytes Hydrilla verticillata and leaf biofilms were investigated.
