Character Sums with Exponential Functions and their Applications
Sergei V. Konyagin,Igor E. Shparlinski +1 more
- 04 Aug 2010
TL;DR: An enumeration problem in finite fields with applications to Algebraic Number Fields and Pseudo-random Number Generators and Multiplicative Translations of Sets.
Explicit constructions of RIP matrices and related problems
TL;DR: A new explicit construction of n×N matrices satisfying the Restricted Isometry Property is given, which overcomes the natural barrier k = O(n1/2) for proofs based on small coherence, which is used in all previous explicit constructions of RIP matrices.

On the Littlewood problem modulo a prime
Ben Green,Sergei V. Konyagin +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the algebra norm of the Fourier transform of a function with average value 0 is O(log p) √ 1/3 + eps.

On Congruences with Products of Variables from Short Intervals and Applications
TL;DR: In this article, the authors obtained upper bounds on the number of solutions to congruences of the type (x_1+s), (x n + s), (y n+ s),(y n +s) not\equiv0 \pmod p $$ modulo a prime $p$ with variables from some short intervals.

Functional graphs of polynomials over finite fields
TL;DR: In this article, a simple and practical algorithm to test the isomorphism of quadratic polynomials has been developed, which has linear memory and time complexity, while its time complexity deviates from linear by a (usually small) multiplier dependent on graph parameters.
