Studies on the third-harmonic generation coefficients in asymmetrical semi-exponential quantum wells
Sen Mou,Kangxian Guo,Bo Xiao +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the third-harmonic generation (THG) coefficients in asymmetrical semi-exponential quantum wells (ASEQW) were studied theoretically, and the results showed that both the amount of peaks of THG coefficients and the magnitude of peaks are significantly affected by σ and U 0, which are parameters refer to the intensity of confinement potential in the growth direction of ASEQW.

Nonlinear optical properties in square tangent quantum wells
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the nonlinear optical properties in square tangent quantum wells and obtained eigenfunctions and energy eigenvalues by means of solving Schrodinger equation within the framework of effective mass approximation.

Polaron effects on the linear and nonlinear intersubband optical absorption coefficients in quantum wells with asymmetrical semi-exponential potential
Sen Mou,Kangxian Guo,Bo Xiao +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral properties of optical absorption coefficients in quantum wells with asymmetrical semi-exponential potential were studied theoretically, and the results of calculation show that optical absorption is enhanced when effects of polaron are considered.

Effect of hydrogenic impurity on the third-harmonic generation in a quantum well
TL;DR: In this article, the third-harmonic generation coefficients in a quantum well with hydrogenic impurity were theoretically investigated with the compact-density-matrix approach and iterative method, and the wave functions and the energy levels can be obtained by using variational method and numerical method.
