TL;DR: In this article, the authors study the recent awareness and persuasion campaign launched by the Irish government to increase energy efficiency and assess its effect on residential natural gas consumption, and find that advertising leaflets had a significant effect on the consumption of natural gas.

TL;DR: In this article, an advertising campaign launched by the Irish government to induce more energy-efficient behaviour and assess its effect on residential natural gas consumption was studied. But they did not find any significant effect of the campaign on self-reported natural gas saving behavior.

Goldilocks and the Three Electricity Prices: Are Irish Prices Just Right?
