A simulation study on the constancy of cardiac energy metabolites during workload transition.
Ryuta Saito,Ryuta Saito,Ayako Takeuchi,Ayako Takeuchi,Yukiko Himeno,Nobuya Inagaki,Satoshi Matsuoka,Satoshi Matsuoka +7 more
TL;DR: A detailed mathematical model of cardiac mitochondria based on experimental data and model simulations revealed that the Ca2+‐dependent regulation mechanisms have important roles under the in vitro condition of isolated mitochondria and under the simulated in vivo condition where many substrates exist.
Association of retinal atherosclerosis assessed using Keith-Wagener-Barker system with incident heart failure and other atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease: Analysis of 319,501 individuals from the general population.
Satoshi Matsuoka,Hidehiro Kaneko,Akira Okada,Hidetaka Itoh,Yuta Suzuki,Katsuhito Fujiu,Nobuaki Michihata,Taisuke Jo,Norifumi Takeda,Hiroyuki Morita,Sunao Nakamura,Koichi Node,Hideo Yasunaga,Issei Komuro +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the relationship between retinal atherosclerosis (RA) and the risk of heart failure (HF) using a nationwide population-based database and found that RA was associated with a greater incidence of HF (hazard ratio 1.13, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.14-1.37), and other CVDs, including myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, and stroke.
Impairment of Ubiquitin–Proteasome System by E334K cMyBPC Modifies Channel Proteins, Leading to Electrophysiological Dysfunction
Udin Bahrudin,Kumi Morikawa,Ayako Takeuchi,Yasutaka Kurata,Junichiro Miake,Einosuke Mizuta,Kaori Adachi,Katsumi Higaki,Yasutaka Yamamoto,Yasuaki Shirayoshi,Akio Yoshida,Masahiko Kato,Kazuhiro Yamamoto,Eiji Nanba,Hiroko Morisaki,Takayuki Morisaki,Satoshi Matsuoka,Haruaki Ninomiya,Ichiro Hisatome +18 more
TL;DR: UPS impairment caused by E334K cMyBPC may modify the levels of channel proteins, leading to electrophysiological dysfunction, and may partly contribute to the observed clinical arrhythmias in HCM patients.
Association of early acute‐phase rehabilitation initiation on outcomes among patients aged ≥90 years with acute heart failure
K. Ueno,Hidehiro Kaneko,Kenji Kamiya,Akira Okada,Hidetaka Itoh,Masaaki Konishi,Tadafumi Sugimoto,Yuta Suzuki,Satoshi Matsuoka,Katsuhito Fujiu,Nobuaki Michihata,Taisuke Jo,Norifumi Takeda,Hiroyuki Morita,Junya Ako,Koichi Node,Hideo Yasunaga,Issei Komuro +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the potential benefit of acute phase rehabilitation initiation in very old (aged ≥ 90) patients with acute heart failure (AHF) has been studied. But, the data on the potential benefits of rehabilitation initiation was scarce.
Blood Pressure Classification Using the 2017 ACC/AHA Guideline and Heart Failure in Patients With Cancer
Hidehiro Kaneko,Y. Yano,Ho Kyou Lee,Hyeok Hee Lee,Akira Okada,Yuta Suzuki,Hidetaka Itoh,Satoshi Matsuoka,Katsuhito Fujiu,Nobuaki Michihata,Taisuke Jo,Norifumi Takeda,Hiroyuki Morita,Akira Nishiyama,Koichi Node,Hyeon Chang Kim,Hideo Yasunaga,Issei Komuro +17 more
TL;DR: Medication-naïve stage 1 and 2 hypertension was associated with a greater risk of HF and other CVD events in patients with cancer, and the results suggest the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration (eg, oncologists and cardiologists) to establish the optimal management strategy for hypertension in Patients with cancer.
