Purpose: Tech-business analytics play a crucial role in the tertiary industry sector by enabling data-driven decision-making and providing analytical insights to enhance customer experiences, improve operational performance, and drive corporate growth. This sector, which includes industries such as healthcare, finance, education, and professional services, benefits from tech-business analytics through the analysis of vast data sets like patient records, financial transactions, student performance, and customer interactions. By identifying patterns, trends, and insights within these data sets, businesses can make more informed decisions.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The tertiary industry sector employs an organized, iterative approach to tech-business analytics, which involves defining business issues, collecting and cleansing data, analysing this data, interpreting the results, and communicating these findings to stakeholders. Through this process, businesses are empowered to make informed decisions that support their growth and development.
Findings/Result: The report talks about how Tech Business Analytics in the Tertiary Industry Sector will have controlled the expansion itself from its evolution to this point.

The paper outlines a vision for how XR technologies can be utilized to support PSS design decisions concerning changeability with an emphasis on perceptual limitations. An XR-enabled PSS changeability incorporation method is proposed based on the extension of the Responsive Systems Comparison method by integrating XR technologies to leverage the potential of information visualization for decision-making. The proposed method is theoretically described and applied to a demonstrative case in the construction machinery industry facing the problem of designing the next-generation autonomous and electrical vehicles for quarrying and mining.

The study aims to systematically understand Augmented Reality (AR) technology user experience and adoption studies in recent years. AR technology has garnered significant attention due to its technological advancements, diverse application development, and validated use cases. This research utilises citation and structural knowledge analysis through Biblioshiny to uncover current trends, impacts, and critical, well-developed themes from 186 journal papers, conference papers, and book chapters retrieved from the Scopus Database. Research interest in the AR topic has grown, although the citation rate has remained relatively stable, indicating that technology is still evolving. The study has identified seven important and well-developed research themes, which include user experience and various AR adoptions in cultural heritage, healthcare (especially in rehabilitation and cognitive assessment), the teaching and learning process, gamification, automated vehicles, and the pedagogical and educational domains. Additionally, the study has identified several challenges that may hinder future progression, such as the intangible characteristics of the AR experience, research preparation (including training, participant diversity, and engagement), and the maturity of technology and use-case scenarios. Despite the increasing volume of research on AR, limited research has focused on AR user experience and acceptance, a gap addressed by this study. 

Deep Dive into the Augmented Reality Customer Experience and Adoption Research: A Bibliometric Study

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationships between augmented reality, process innovativeness and operational performance. Design/methodology/approach This research is based on a quantitative approach using a questionnaire survey from a total of 117 firms in the automotive sector. The hypothesized relationships are tested using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings This study demonstrates that augmented reality is positively associated with process innovativeness, and process innovativeness is positively related to operational performance. Furthermore, it is found that process innovativeness fully mediates the relationship between augmented reality and operational performance. Originality/value Although augmented reality attracts great attention from academics and practitioners, the current literature lacks an empirical investigation on how augmented reality creates value for the business. Addressing this crucial gap, this research is the first attempt to empirically reveal the role of augmented reality in facilitating process innovativeness and also unearthing how augmented reality improves operational performance. Therefore, this study offers novel insights into the role of augmented reality in business and provides theoretical and managerial contributions. 

Impact of augmented reality on operational performance: the mediating role of process innovativeness

PurposeThis paper presents a model aiming to identify the factors influencing the adoption of augmented reality (AR) for industrial services.Design/methodology/approachThe study combines a literature analysis with an empirical study conducted exploring how five large industrial companies are introducing AR for supporting the provision of technical assistance and industrial services to their installed base.FindingsThe authors identify four categories (task, workforce, context and technology) that combine 18 factors that manufacturing companies should consider when introducing AR technology to support industrial services.Originality/valueThis paper systematises the fragmented literature on technology adoption and in particular those works related to the factors affecting the adoption of AR in industrial services. Based on literature and empirical evidence, the authors propose a novel framework that can help companies in the selection of AR solution based on their specific applications and situations. This study therefore contributes also to the existing literature on the adoption of I4.0 and digital technologies in industrial services.
