TL;DR: The taxonomic study of Cactaceae in Serra Negra, Minas Gerais is presented in this article, where five genera and nine species are represented in the area by Arthrocereus melanurus subsp. magnus, Hatiora salicornioides, Lepismium houlletianum, Opuntia monacantha, Rhipsalis elliptica, R. floccosa subsp., R. pulvinigera and R. pilocarpa.
