TL;DR: SSRS to the unilateral thalamic ventral intermediate nucleus, with a dose of 130-150 Gy, is a well-tolerated and effective treatment for reducing medically refractory tremor, and one that is recommended by the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society.
