TL;DR: It is reassuring that less resource intensive didactic counselling was adequate for excellent treatment outcomes in this setting, and participants receiving intensive motivational counselling did not achieve higher treatment adherence or virological suppression than those receiving routinely provided didactic adherence counselling.
