TL;DR: In this paper, chitosan impregnated with nanoparticles of zero-valent iron (NZVI) was fabricated onto a magnetic composite of CS@NZVI as an adsorbent for cadmium (Cd 2+ ) removal from aqueous solution.
Enhanced sonocatalysis of textile wastewater using bentonite-supported ZnO nanoparticles: Response surface methodological approach.
TL;DR: The use of bentonite as the carrier of ZnO nanoparticles for enhancing the sonocatalytic decolorization of Basic Red 46 in the aqueous phase demonstrated the higher sonoc atalytic activity ofbentonite-supported ZnN nanoparticles (BSZNs) in comparison with the suspended ZNO nanoparticle (SZNs).
A salt resistant biosurfactant produced by moderately halotolerant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (AHV-KH10) and its application for bioremediation of diesel-contaminated sediment in saline environment.
TL;DR: A halotolerant bacterial strain was isolated from oily-contaminated sites of Persian Gulf, which characterized as Pseudomonas aeruginosa (AHV-KH10) by 16S rRNA gene sequencing, indicating the moderately halo-tolerant characteristics of isolated strain.
