Artificial Intelligence Techniques for the Prediction of Body Weights in Sheep
Ambreen Hamadani,Nazir Ahmad Ganai,Safeer Alam,Syed Mudasir,T. A. Raja,Ishraq Hussain,H. A. Ahmad +6 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that both the algorithms tested in this study were satisfactorily trained in their prediction of the body weights with OLS performing better than PCA in terms of R2 value.

Morphological studies and management of Beetal goats in its native tract
TL;DR: The breed is declining in number very fast and there is shrinkage in grazing land in the breeding tract of Beetal goats, the breed should be taken up to save this breed in its natural habitat.

Outlier Removal in Sheep Farm Datasets Using Winsorization
Ambreen Hamadani,Nazir Ahmad Ganai,Tariq G. Raja,Safeer Alam,S.M. Andrabi,Ishraq Hussain,H. A. Ahmad +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a winsorization technique was attempted for the removal of outliers from sheep farm data data for 11 years (2011-2021) for body weights at different ages.

Prediction of Body Weight from Linear Body Measurements in Kashmiri (Kashir) Goat
Mubashir Ali Rather,Imran Bashir,Syed Shanaz,Safeer Alam,Ruksana Shah,Amreen Hamdani,Shokat Ahanger,Shabir Ahmad Mir +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a regression model for predicting body weight of Kashmiri goat was obtained by using combination of BL (body length) and CG (chest girth) with R2 (coefficient of determination) of 0.795.

Exploring genetic diversity in cashmere goats of Ladakh for enhancing production
TL;DR: A highly diverse and adapted Changthangi goat population in the region is shown and the genetic distance computed from the present study can be utilized for implementing a sound future breeding programme for the genetic improvement of this goat.
