TL;DR: It is concluded that, in principle, brain atrophy in AD is asymmetric rather than lateralized, at the individual level however, asymmetry contributes to cognitive deficits.
The progressive course of neurological symptoms in anterior choroidal artery infarcts
TL;DR: While mechanisms of small and large vessel disease seem to overlap in anterior choroidal artery infarction, it is not able to identify predictors of neurological progression, and magnetic resonance imaging findings and etiological assessment suggest overlapping mechanisms of large and small vessel disease.
