Long-distance propagation of short-wavelength spin waves.
Chuanpu Liu,Chuanpu Liu,Jilei Chen,Tao Liu,Florian Heimbach,Haiming Yu,Yang Xiao,Junfeng Hu,Mengchao Liu,Houchen Chang,Tobias Stueckler,Sa Tu,Youguang Zhang,Yan Zhang,Peng Gao,Zhi-Min Liao,Dapeng Yu,Dapeng Yu,Ke Xia,Na Lei,Weisheng Zhao,Mingzhong Wu +21 more
TL;DR: The authors demonstrate the propagation of spin waves with wavelength down to 50 nm and group velocity up to 2600 m s−1 using ferromagnetic nanowires grown on a thin Y3Fe5O12 film strip structure.
Excitation of unidirectional exchange spin waves by a nanoscale magnetic grating
Jilei Chen,Tao Yu,Chuanpu Liu,Tao Liu,Marco Madami,Ka Shen,Jianyu Zhang,Sa Tu,Shah Alam,Ke Xia,Mingzhong Wu,Gianluca Gubbiotti,Yaroslav M. Blanter,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Haiming Yu +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, a nanoscale magnetic grating consisting of Co nanowires fabricated on an ultrathin yttrium iron garnet film was used to demonstrate the nearly perfect unidirectional excitation by the chirality of the magneto-dipolar interactions between the Kittel mode of the nanwires and the exchange spin waves of the film.
Anomalous Hall and Nernst Effects in Co2TiSn and Co2Ti0.6V0.4Sn Heusler Thin Films
Junfeng Hu,Junfeng Hu,Benedikt Ernst,Sa Tu,Sa Tu,Marko Kuveždić,Amir Hamzić,Amir Hamzić,Emil Tafra,Mario Basletić,Youguang Zhang,Anastasios Markou,Claudia Felser,Albert Fert,Albert Fert,Weisheng Zhao,Jean-Philippe Ansermet,Haiming Yu +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spin-dependent transport and thermoelectric effects in epitaxial Co${}_{2}$TiSn thin films, with and without V doping, were investigated.

Spin wave propagation in ultrathin magnetic insulators with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy
TL;DR: In this paper, the full reciprocal MSFVM spin wave propagation in a 30nm-thick manganese doped yttrium iron garnet (YIG) with PMA was realized by only applying an external magnetic field of 5mT.

Nonreciprocal coherent coupling of nanomagnets by exchange spin waves
Hanchen Wang,Jilei Chen,Tao Yu,Chuanpu Liu,Chenyang Guo,Song Liu,Ka Shen,Hao Jia,Tao Liu,Jianyu Zhang,Marco A. Cabero,Marco A. Cabero,Qiuming Song,Sa Tu,Mingzhong Wu,Xiufeng Han,Ke Xia,Dapeng Yu,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Haiming Yu +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate coherent coupling of two distant Co nanowires by fast propagating spin waves in an yttrium iron garnet thin film with sub-50 nm wavelengths.
