Osteopontin (OPN/SPP1), a Mediator of Tumor Progression, Is Regulated by the Mesenchymal Transcription Factor Slug/SNAI2 in Colorectal Cancer (CRC)
Katyana Amilca-Seba,Tuan Zea Tan,Jean Paul Thiery,Lila K Louadj,S. Thouroude,Anaïs Bouygues,Michèle Sabbah,Annette K. Larsen,Jérôme Alexandre Denis +8 more
TL;DR: Results show that osteopontin, a secreted pleotropic protein involved in multiple steps of colorectal cancer progression, was highly upregulated by Slug in vitro, as well as in vivo, and shows that Slug is a direct regulator of osteobontin at the promoter level.
Modelization of Blood-Borne Hypercoagulability in Myeloma: A Tissue-Factor-Bearing Microparticle-Driven Process
Loula Papageorgiou,Kutaiba Alhaj Hussen,S. Thouroude,Elisabeth Mbemba,Héléne Cost,Laurent Garderet,Ismail Elalamy,Annette K. Larsen,Patrick Van Dreden,Meletios A. Dimopoulos,Mohamad Mohty,Grigoris T. Gerotziafas +11 more
- 01 Oct 2019
TL;DR: MPCs indirectly induce blood-borne hypercoagulability through the release of MPC-dMPs rich in TF, which could be the resultant of MPs rich in tissue factor.
Influence of liposomal irinotecan (nal-IRI) and non-liposomal irinotecan, alone and in combination, on tumor growth and angiogenesis in colorectal cancer (CRC) models.
Annette K. Larsen,Cristiano Trindade,Anaïs Bouygues,Lila K Louadj,S. Thouroude,Stephan G Klinz,Ashish Kalra,João Antonio Pêgas Henriques,Benoist Chibaudel,Aimery de Gramont,Alexandre E. Escargueil,Paul Mésange +11 more
TL;DR: The long circulating liposomal irinotecan nal-IRI (MM-398/PEP02, Onivyde) is approved for treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer after disease progression with gemcitabine-based chemotherapy.
