Relaxation processes and time-scale transformations
TL;DR: Stochastic processes with a special class of non-stationary transition rates (NSTR) that can be related to stationary rates (STR) by time scale transformations are considered and the model is widely applicable in the description of measured relaxation behavior and leads naturally to Ngai's renormalization relation for excitation energies.
Dynamic linear response
A. K. Rajagopal,S. Teitler +1 more
TL;DR: The near-equilibrium nature of dynamic linear response when a system is acted upon by an external force is clarified by using the linearity condition to identify a limited class of near-Equilibrium density matrices that characterize the response.
