Bioproduction of CuO and Ag/CuO heterogeneous photocatalysis-photocatalytic dye degradation and biological activities
C. Parvathiraja,S. Shailajha +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the nano-based particles have the potency to overcome water contamination by using plant extract as reducing and stabilizing agent, and the results indicated the CuO and Ag/CuO NPs may further use in wastewater treatment and biomedical applications.

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles by Cyperus pangorei and its potential in structural, optical and catalytic dye degradation
TL;DR: In this article, a simple, cost-effective, and a benign environmental biosynthesis of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) using Cyperus pangorei, a plant extract with three different concentrations of AgNO3 in aqueous media was reported.

In vitro bioactivity, mechanical behavior and antibacterial properties of mesoporous SiO2-CaO-Na2O-P2O5 nano bioactive glass ceramics.
TL;DR: The synthesis of mesoporous nanobioactive glass ceramic with the modified composition of quaternary system 50% SiO2 - 26% Na2O - 20% CaO- 4% P2O5 (Ca/P: 5) by sol-gel method and succeeded by heat treatment revealed that the synthesized glass ceramic stabilized at higher temperature making more formation of the crystalline phase of sodium calcium silicate.

Effect of Ni2+ and Fe3+ Ion Concentrations on Structural, Optical, Magnetic, and Impedance Response of NiFe2O4 Nanoparticles Prepared by Sol-Gel Process
TL;DR: In this article, NiFe2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized via sol-gel method and thermally treated at 900 ǫ C. The reflection planes with single and two phases by homogeneous and nonhomogeneous distributions of Ni2+ and Fe3+ ions in cubic spinel nickel ferrite samples confirmed by using XRD patterns through the Rietveld refinement method and FTIR analysis.

Photocatalytic and antibacterial activity of bio-treated Ag nanoparticles synthesized using Tinospora cordifolia leaf extract
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of Ag nanoparticles by changing the concentrations (P1-5, P2-10 and P3-15) of Tinospora cordifolia leaf extract was confirmed by UV-Vis DRS with the appearance of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) bands at 440nm.
