Plasma leptin levels in newborns from normal and diabetic mothers.
Margherita Maffei,L Volpe,G Di Cianni,A Bertacca,Marco Ferdeghini,S Murru,G Teti,I Casadidio,P Cecchetti,R. Navalesi,Luca Benzi +10 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that degree of adiposity is one of the main regulators of leptin concentration in the human newborn and that babies exposed to an altered, though clinically controlled, metabolic environment, as in IDDM mothers, have increased levels of leptin.

Neonatal outcome and obstetric complications in women with gestational diabetes: effects of maternal body mass index.
G. Di Cianni,Luca Benzi,Pietro Bottone,L Volpe,Paolo Orsini,S Murru,I Casadidio,F Clemente,R. Navalesi +8 more
TL;DR: The degree of overweight is associated with an earlier diagnosis of GDM; prepregnancy BMI is more predictive of macrosomia than weight gain, both in control and GDM women; GDM seems to play the most important role in increasing the possibility of the occurrence of macrosOMia.

590 Biological and in-silico characterization of pyrazole and pyrazolone derivatives: Identifies novel anti-skin cancer, antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibitory agents
Samuel Boateng,Tithi Roy,Kathryn Torrey,Sergette Banang-Mbeumi,D. Aryal,S Murru,H. Ma,Jean Christopher Chamcheu +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , pyrazole and pyrazolone compounds were synthesized via microwave-assisted reactions and their pharmacokinetic parameters ADMET predicted by in-silico methods.
