Characterization and modeling of a low background HPGe detector
N. Dokania,N. Dokania,Vasundhara Singh,Vasundhara Singh,S. Mathimalar,S. Mathimalar,V. Nanal,Sabyasachi Pal,R. G. Pillay +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high efficiency, low background counting setup has been made at TIFR consisting of a special HPGe detector ( ~ 70 % ) surrounded by a low activity copper+lead shield.

Characterization of Neutron Transmutation Doped (NTD) Ge for low temperature sensor development
S. Mathimalar,S. Mathimalar,Vasundhara Singh,Vasundhara Singh,N. Dokania,N. Dokania,V. Nanal,R. G. Pillay,Sabyasachi Pal,S. Ramakrishnan,A. K. Shrivastava,Priya Maheshwari,P. K. Pujari,Shreesh Ojha,D. Kanjilal,K. C. Jagadeesan,S.V. Thakare +16 more
TL;DR: The Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy (PALS) measurements indicated monovacancy type defects for all irradiated samples, while Channeling studies employing RBS with 2 MeV alpha particles, revealed no significant defects in the samples exposed to fast neutron fluence of ∼ 4 × 10 16 / cm 2 as mentioned in this paper.

Study of neutron-induced background and its effect on the search of 0$\nu\beta\beta$ decay in $\rm^{124}Sn$
N. Dokania,V. P. Singh,S. Mathimalar,C. Ghosh,V. Nanal,R. G. Pillay,S. Pal,K. G. Bhushan,A. K. Shrivastava +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the TIN detector was used for the search of Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay in $\rm^{124}Sn$ covering a broad energy range ($ \sim0.1$ to $ \sim18$~MeV) was generated using $ 9}Be(p,n)^{9}B$ reaction.

Datar,Suresh Kumar,Gyan P. Mishra,Srirupa Mukhopadhyay,Deepak Pandit,S. Erturk +35 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-dimensional analysis of complex waveforms recorded with digital electronics is compared to analog discrimination methods, which allow to resolve the LaBr3:Ce and NaI:Tl signal components and to construct clean associated γ-ray spectra.
6
Estimation of low energy neutron flux ($E_n\leq15$ MeV) in India-based Neutrino Observatory cavern using Monte Carlo techniques
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used Geant4-based Monte Carlo simulations to estimate the neutron flux at low energy in the underground cavern of the India-based Neutrino Observatory.
