Spectral evolution of pulse structures in gamma-ray bursts
J. P. Norris,Gerald H. Share,D. C. Messina,Brian R. Dennis,Upendra D. Desai,T. L. Cline,S. M. Matz,Edward L. Chupp +7 more
TL;DR: The Hard X-Ray Burst Spectrometer (HXRBS) and Gamma-Ray Spectrometers (GRS) data from the Solar Maximum Mission satellite have been searched for gamma-ray bursts with sufficient intensities and relatively simple time profiles such that their spectral behavior may be studied on a time scale of about 1 s as mentioned in this paper.

OSSE observations of the Crab pulsar
Melville P. Ulmer,S. M. Matz,R. A. Cameron,D. A. Grabelsky,J. E. Grove,W. N. Johnson,G. V. Jung,R. L. Kinzer,James D. Kurfess,Mark D. Leising +9 more
- 01 Feb 1992
TL;DR: In this article, preliminary results of the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory Oriented Scintillation Spectrometer Experiment (OSSE) observations of the Crab pulsar were presented, validating the OSSE pulsar data acquisition modes and data analysis algorithms.
High‐energy emission from gamma‐ray bursts
P. L. Nolan,Gerald H. Share,S. M. Matz,Edward L. Chupp,D. J. Forrest,E. Rieger +5 more
- 26 May 1984
TL;DR: In this article, broad-band continuum spectroscopy of 17 gamma-ray bursts above 0.3 MeV was discussed and three trial functions were fitted by three different functional forms, none of which provided an adequate fit to all spectra.

OSSE observations of the 4 June 1991 solar flare
R. J. Murphy,Gerald H. Share,J. E. Grove,W. N. Johnson,R. L. Kinzer,Richard A. Kroeger,James D. Kurfess,M. S. Strickman,S. M. Matz,W. R. Purcell,Melville P. Ulmer,D. A. Grabelsky,G. V. Jung,C. M. Jensen,D. J. Forrest,W. T. Vestrand +15 more
- 29 May 2008
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented time profiles of the 2.223 MeV neutron capture line and the 4.44 MeV 12C nuclear deexcitation line derived from observations of the 4 June 1991 X12+ solar flare obtained by the Oriented Scintillation Spectrometer Experiment (OSSE) on board the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO).
