NMR studies of the superconducting state of copper oxide superconductors
Charles P. Slichter,Charles P. Slichter,S. E. Barrett,J. A. Martindale,D. J. Durand,Charles H. Pennington,Christopher A. Klug,K. E. O’Hara,S. M. Desoto,Takashi Imai,J. P. Rice,T. A. Friedmann,D. M. Ginsberg,D. M. Ginsberg +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors review and up-date their work on Knight shifts, spin-lattice relaxation, and indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling for YBa2Cu3O7 in the superconducting state.

Nuclear magnetic resonance and electron spins: Some history, ancient and in the making
Charles P. Slighter,R. L. Coreyf,Nicholas Curro,S. M. Desoto,K. E. O’Hara,Takashi Imai,Aravinda M. Kini,Hau H. Wang,Urs Geiser,Jack M. Williams,Kazuyoshi Yoshimura,M. Katoh,Koji Kosuge +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, scaling relationships for Nmr spin-lattice relaxation time T 1 and Gaussian transverse relaxation T 2G c were reviewed and applied to analyse experiments in the normal state of YBa2Cu4O8.

NMR in the superconducting state of YBa2Cu3O7
J. A. Martindale,S. E. Barrett,Christopher A. Klug,K. E. O’Hara,S. M. Desoto,Charles P. Slichter,T. A. Friedmann,D. M. Ginsberg +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the 63 Cu spin-lattice relaxation times in YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 below the superconducting transition and showed that the orbital pairing in this state is d-like, and that at low temperatures and strong fields the fluxoid cores may dominate the relaxation mechanism.

Anisotropy and magnetic field dependence of the planar copper NMR spin-lattice relaxation rate in the superconducting state of YBa2Cu3O7.
J. A. Martindale,S. E. Barrett,Christopher A. Klug,K. E. O’Hara,S. M. Desoto,Charles P. Slichter,T. A. Friedmann,D. M. Ginsberg +7 more
TL;DR: Measurements of the planar 63 Cu nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rates for the static field oriented along the a (c) axis in the superconducting state of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 are reported.
