Culture of mammary gland epithelial cells in vitro plays an important role in many research fields, such as the growth and development of mammary gland, lactation mechanism, incidence of breast tumors or cancer and mammary gland bioreactor. establishment of mammary epithelial cell lines can provide a good nuclear donor for clone and transgenosis. Meanwhile, establishment of mammary epithelial cell lines that have secretory function can be used as cell models for studying mammary gland developmental biology and pathology, as well as lactation biology. In this paper, the research progress of culture technique on mammary gland epithelial cells in vitro at home and abroad was summarized for providing theoretical reference to related studies.
