TL;DR: Among elderly patients with COPD, a comprehensive rehabilitation programme can significantly improve the 6'WD even in the presence of chronic hypoxemia, and the most physically impaired patients achieve the greatest benefit from rehabilitation.

TL;DR: Pulmonary function was evaluated by means of a battery of measures, including maximal voluntary ventilation, forced vital capacity, forced expiratory volume, in 71 consecutive patients with primary and secondary progressive MS to identify reliable prognostic factors associated with respiratory abnormalities in a consecutive series of patients with multiple sclerosis.
