Magnetic field and temperature phase diagram of the pressurized organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF) 2 Cu[N(CN) 2 ]Br in the field parallel to the conducting plane
TL;DR: In this article, the upper critical field of the layered organic superconductor has been studied with emphasis on the field direction parallel to the conducting plane, and an abrupt change by pressure of the slope of the H 2 T 2 (T 2 ) curve in a temperature range near T 2 was attributed to the phase change in the material due to the ordering of the ethylene fragments of the BEDT-TTF molecules.
Upper critical field of κ-(ET)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br under parallel magnetic fields
Y. Shimojo,A.E. Kovalev,S. Kamiya,Eiji Ohmichi,Takehiko Ishiguro,Hideki Yamochi,G. Saito,A. Ayari,Pierre Monceau +8 more
TL;DR: The upper critical field Hc2 of κ-(ET)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br under magnetic fields parallel to the superconducting layer has been determined based on the temperature dependence of the out-of-plane resistance as mentioned in this paper.

Y. Shimojo,S. Kamiya,M. A. Tanatar,Eiji Ohmichi,A. E. Kovalev,Takehiko Ishiguro,Hideki Yamochi,G. Saito,Jun-ichi Yamada,H. Anzai,Nataliya D. Kushch,Rustem B. Lyubovskii,Rimma N. Lyubovskaya,Eduard B. Yagubskii +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the upper critical fields in the direction parallel to superconducting plane, Hc2″, of the layered salts κ-(BEDT-TTF)2X (X=Cu(NCS)2, Cu[N(CN)2]Br) and κ-Hg2.89Br8 far exceed the BCS Pauli paramagnetic limit and show variety of temperature (T) dependence at ambient pressure.
