New investigation of pressure-induced rhombohedral distortion of uranium nitride
T. Le Bihan,M. Idiri,S. Heathman +2 more
TL;DR: The structural behavior of uranium nitride at room temperature has been studied up to 54 GPa in diamond anvil cells using angle-dispersive X-ray diffraction at the European synchrotron radiation facility as mentioned in this paper.

X-ray diffraction studies of AuCu3-type neptunium compounds under pressure
TL;DR: In this article, NpX 3 (AuCu 3 -type structure) compounds with X=Al, Ga, Ge, In and Sn were studied up to 50 GPa using the energy dispersive X-ray diffraction (EDXRD) technique.
18
High pressure X-ray diffraction experiments on NpS and PUS up to 60 GPa
TL;DR: In this paper, a diamond anvil cell was used in an energy dispersive X-ray diffraction facility to study neutunium and plutonium monosulfides under high pressure up to ∼60 GPa.
11
Pressure-induced orthorhombic distortion of UMn2
TL;DR: In this paper, the cubic Laves phase distorts at pressures above about 3 GPa at ambient temperature, and the analysis of the associated splitting of the diffraction lines reveals that this distortion is orthorhombic and qualitatively the same as the already known distortion observed at low temperatures.

High-field and high-pressure studies of UPdSi and UNiSi hydrides
A.V. Kolomiets,A.V. Kolomiets,Ladislav Havela,Alexander V. Andreev,Khrystyna Miliyanchuk,S. Heathman,T. Goto +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, high-field magnetization measurements have revealed an antiferromagnetic ground state in UPdSiH1.0 and uncompensated AFM in UNiSiH 1.0.
