Design of fault-tolerant solid state mass memory
Gian Carlo Cardarilli,P. Marinucci,S. Bertazzoni,Marcello Salmeri,Adelio Salsano +4 more
- 01 Nov 1999
TL;DR: This paper presents the flow used for the design of a fault-tolerant solid state mass memory based on commercial off the shelf (COTS) 64 Mb DRAMs, and considers heavy ion and proton induced soft and hard errors in DRAM devices.
Electronic implementation of an analogue attractor neural network with stochastic learning
TL;DR: An electronic implementation of an attractor neural network with plastic synapses is described and discussed, which converts the gross statistical characteristics of the stimulus input stream into a set of attractors (reverberations) and has indefinitely long lifetime in the absence of activity in the network.

Local meteorological forecasting by type-2 fuzzy systems time series prediction
Arianna Mencattini,Marcello Salmeri,S. Bertazzoni,R. Lojacono,Eros Pasero,W. Moniaci +5 more
- 20 Jul 2005
TL;DR: A "local level" approach, based on time series forecasting using Type-2 Fuzzy Systems, is proposed, which allows for more accurate forecasting results even many hours in advance.

Short term local meteorological forecasting using type-2 fuzzy systems
Arianna Mencattini,Marcello Salmeri,S. Bertazzoni,R. Lojacono,Eros Pasero,W. Moniaci +5 more
- 08 Jun 2005
TL;DR: In this article, a local level approach based on time series forecasting using Type-2 Fuzzy Systems is proposed, which uses a detrend procedure in order to extract the chaotic component to be predicted.

Failure tests on 64 Mb SDRAM in radiation environment
S. Bertazzoni,Gian Carlo Cardarilli,D. Piergentili,Marcello Salmeri,Adelio Salsano,D. Di Giovenale,G.C. Grande,P. Marinucci,S. Sperandei,S. Bartalucci,G. Massenga,M. Ricci,V. Bidoli,D. De Francesco,P. Picozza,A. Rovelli +15 more
- 01 Nov 1999
TL;DR: This paper analyzes the failures of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) 64 Mb Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) in a radiation environment and registers different failure types that could affect the operations of a system based on this device.
