Optical, bactericidal and water repellent properties of electrospun nano-composite membranes of cellulose acetate and ZnO.
TL;DR: In this paper, ZnO nanoparticles embedded cellulose acetate (CA) fibrous membrane with multifunctional properties have been prepared through electrospinning method and the morphology of the electrospun composite membrane was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).

Wear Investigation of Aluminum Alloy Surface Layers Fabricated through Friction Stir Welding Method
S. Vijayakumar,S. Anitha,Roshini Arivazhagan,Ashebir Dingeto Hailu,T. J. P. Rao,Hari Prasada Rao Pydi +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an effort was made to investigate the dry sliding wear rate of friction stir welded AA6262/AA5456 composite performed by the Taguchi approach, which was carried out by selecting suitable process parameters such as load (LD), sliding speed (SS), and sliding distance (SE) to recognize the individual and combination effects of parameters.
A study on defect controlled morphology of Organic/Inorganic composite nanofibers with different heat flow rates
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the mechanism to prevent the defect formation and the breaking of ZnO nanofibers by using optimized heat flow rates and found that a lower concentration of defects favors the formation of defects along the fiber and the number of defects reduces when the concentration is increased.

In-situ preparation of high optical quality ZnO nanoparticles in nanofibrous PVA matrix
TL;DR: In this paper, a low cost in-situ preparation of high quality monodispersed and non-agglomerate ZnO nanoparticles in nanofibrous PVA matrix derived from electrospinning method is reported.
