Angular correlations in the prompt neutron emission of spontaneous fission of 252 Cf
A. Chietera,Louise Stuttge,Friedrich Gönnenwein,Yu. N. Kopatch,Manfred Mutterer,A. M. Gagarski,I. S. Guseva,E. V. Chernysheva,F.-J. Hambsch,F. Hanappe,Zh. V. Mezentseva,S.A. Telezhnikov +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a simulation toolkit based on GEANT4 and MENATE_R was developed to investigate the influence of experimental conditions on the observed properties of neutrons emitted.

Primary gamma transitions in 159 Gd after isolated resonance neutron capture
TL;DR: In this paper, the energy levels and transitions in 159 Gd were studied by means of radiative capture of resonance neutrons at 12 isolated resonances of 158 Gd and the binding energy was determined at (5943.1±0.2)

Levels of Yb174 populated in average resonance neutron capture
TL;DR: In this paper, the primary γ -rays and energy levels in 159 Gd were investigated in average resonance neutron capture using tailored neutron beams at 2 and 24 kV and a pair spectrometer at the high flux reactor at Brookhaven.

Spatially correlated and coincidence detection of fission fragments with the pixel detector Timepix
Carlos Granja,Vaclav Kraus,Jan Jakubek,Stanislav Pospisil,Petr Masek,Zdenek Vykydal,M. Platkevic,Zdenek Kohout,Yuri Kopatch,S.A. Telezhnikov,Ulli Köster,Jiri Vacik,I. Tomandl +12 more
- 01 Oct 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, a modular multi-parameter, tunable and extendable coincidence detector array system based on two and more Timepix devices which can be coupled with supplementary detectors (solid state ΔE detectors and/or ionization chambers) for enhanced ion selectivity.

Spatial- and Time-Correlated Detection of Fission Fragments
Carlos Granja,Vaclav Kraus,Yuri Kopatch,S.A. Telezhnikov,J. Vacik,I. Tomandl,M. Platkevic,Stanislav Pospisil +7 more
- 01 Feb 2012
TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-detector coincidence system based on two and up to four position sensitive pixel detectors is proposed to measure angular correlations of fission fragments in rare fission decay (e.g. ternary and quaternary fission).
