Flotation performance of a novel Gemini collector for kaolinite at low temperature
Shiyong Zhang,Zhiqiang Huang,Hongling Wang,Rukuan Liu,Chen Cheng,Shuyi Shuai,Yajing Hu,Zhiqun Guo,Xinyang Yu,Guichun He,Weng Fu +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel amino-based Gemini surfactant butadiyl-1, 4-bis (dimethyl dodecylammonium bromide) was prepared and first utilized as a novel collector for kaolinite flotation.

Evaluation of a novel morpholine-typed Gemini surfactant as the collector for the reverse flotation separation of halite from carnallite ore
Zhiqiang Huang,Shiyong Zhang,Feng Zhang,Hongling Wang,Jianrong Zhou,Xinyang Yu,Rukuan Liu,Chen Cheng,Zuwen Liu,Zhiqun Guo,Guichun He,Ai Guanghua,Weng Fu +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel morpholine-based Gemini molecule with double hydrophilic heads and hydrophobic chains, butanediyl-α, ω-bis (morpholino tetradecylammonium bromide) (BMTB) was synthesized and applied as the flotation collector in the reverse flotation separation for carnallite mineral.

Separation of wolframite ore by froth flotation using a novel “crab” structure sebacoyl hydroxamic acid collector without Pb(NO3)2 activation
Shiyong Zhang,Zhiqiang Huang,Hongling Wang,Rukuan Liu,Chen Cheng,Zhiqun Guo,Xinyang Yu,Guichun He,Weng Fu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new hydroxamic acid molecule -sebacoyl hydroxam acid (SHA) was synthesized and characterized for wolframite flotation, and the results of bench-scale flotation experiments showed that the WO3 recovery with 180g/t SHA was 10.05% higher than that with 360 g/t BHA and 300 g/T Pb(NO3)2.

Morpholine-Based Gemini Surfactant: Synthesis and Its Application for Reverse Froth Flotation of Carnallite Ore in Potassium Fertilizer Production.
Zhiqiang Huang,Chen Cheng,Liqing Li,Zhizhong Guo,Guichun He,Xinyang Yu,Rukuan Liu,Haijun Han,Lanqing Deng,Weng Fu +9 more
TL;DR: Considering the BMBD's unique properties, such as double reactive centers to mineral surfaces, double hydrophobic groups, and stronger surface tension reducing ability, made it be a superior collector for reverse flotation desalination from carnallite ores than DDM.

Application of a new amidoxime surfactant in flotation separation of scheelite and calcite: Adsorption mechanism and DFT calculation
Zhiqiang Huang,Shuyi Shuai,Vladimir E Burov,V. Z. Poilov,Fang Li,Hongling Wang,Rukuan Liu,Shiyong Zhang,Chen Yen Cheng,Wenyuan Li,Xinyang Yu,Guichun He,Weng Fu +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a new amidoxime surfactant 3-dodecylamine propyl amidoxideime (DPA) was synthesized and used as a collector for the first time in the flotation separation of scheelite and calcite at room temperature without any sodium silicate, and compared with the traditional collector sodium oleate (NaOL).
