Effects of salinity on the soil microbial community and soil fertility.
TL;DR: In this article, the salinity effects on soil microorganisms, nutrient availabilities and their relationships were studied in soils along a salinity gradient, and the results showed that salinity increased soil pH and exchangeable Na percent, but decreased soil organic matter, soil exchangeable K, and soil microbial biomass.

Agricultural intensification weakens the soil health index and stability of microbial networks
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors examined the changes in soil properties and the stability of the microbial networks by combining co-occurrence networks and structural equation model under agricultural intensification in Qu Zhou, China.

Agricultural intensification weakens soil multifunctionality by reducing fungal diversity
TL;DR: In this paper , structural equation modeling was used to identify the effects of soil abiotic properties (soil organic carbon and soil total nitrogen) and fungal and bacterial communities on soil multifunctionality.

Stability of Bacterial Network Enhances Nutrient Content in Apple Trees
Rui Xue,Chong Wang,Dong Zhang +2 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the responses of soil microbial network stability to precipitation and soil properties could largely influence the plant P content, effectively enhancing plant P.
