A new strength criterion and constitutive model of gas hydrate-bearing sediments under high confining pressures
TL;DR: In this article, a series of triaxial compression tests on synthetic gas hydrate-bearing sediment cores were conducted under high confining pressures and a temperature of −10 ˚C.

Effect of confining pressure on mechanical behavior of methane hydrate-bearing sediments
TL;DR: In this paper, a triaxial compressive test was conducted on hydrate-bearing sediments with different volume content of kaoline, and the results showed that the failure strength of gas hydratebearing sedimentary layers increases with the confining pressure at a low-pressure stage.

Analysis of Mechanical Properties And Strength Criteria of Methane Hydrate-Bearing Sediments
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of temperature and confining pressure on the mechanical properties of gas hydrate-bearing sediments were analyzed and a strength criterion considering the influence of temperature was developed for methane hydrate bearing sediments.

TL;DR: In this article, a triaxial apparatus system was set up to simulate the creep behavior of hydrate-bearing sediments and the experimental results indicated that the internal cementation of the sediments was changed with the change of porosity.
