Interfacial and electronic properties of heterostructures of MXene and graphene
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined various heterostructures of the prototypical MXene and graphene using density-functional theory and found that the adhesion energy, charge transfer, and band structure of these heterometructures are sensitive not only to the surface functional group, but also to the stacking order.

Anti-proliferative activity and DNA/BSA interactions of five mono- or di-organotin(IV) compounds derived from 2-hydroxy-N′-[(2-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methylidene]-benzohydrazone
TL;DR: In this paper, five new mono- or di-organotin(IV) complexes, Me2SnL (1), Ph2NLLL (2), n-Bu2NCL(H2O)L·CH3CH2OH (5), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques (IR and 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR).

A simple strategy for tridoped porous carbon nanosheet as superior electrocatalyst for bifunctional oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reactions
Yinghua Wang,Shujin Wang,Ruiqing Li,Haibo Li,Zengjing Guo,Baoli Chen,Rui Li,Qingxia Yao,Xianxi Zhang,Hongyan Chen,Ying Li,Konggang Qu,Yao Zheng +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a mix-and-pyrolyze strategy was used to fabricate nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur-tridoped porous carbon materials, featuring a honeycomb-like nanosheet structure with a high surface area of 711.6 m2/g and high-level dopants including especially 6.61 at% phosphorus.

TL;DR: A highly sensitive fluorescence assay of DNA methyltransferase by methylation-sensitive cleavage-based primer generation exponential isothermal amplification (PG-EXPA) coupled with supramolecular fluorescent Zinc(II)-protoporphyrin IX (ZnPPIX)/G-quadruplex and the application of the proposed sensing strategy for screening Dam MTase inhibitors was demonstrated with satisfactory results.
