Some costs of reproduction for male bushcrickets, Requena verticalis (Orthoptera : Tettigoniidae) allocating resources to mate attraction and nuptial feeding

TL;DR: On a per day basis, males appear to hold constant their investment in the spermatophore at the cost of reduced mating effort when resources are limited, and one explanation for this pattern could be a frequency-dependent optimization of sperMatophore size.

Endemic evolutionary radiation of Rhagada land snails (Pulmonata: Camaenidae) in a continental archipelago in northern Western Australia
TL;DR: In the Dampier Archipelago of Western Australia's Pilbara Region, several locally endemic, morphologically distinctive species of Rhagada land snails occur, contrasting with the morphologically conservative species with wider distributions on the adjacent mainland, suggesting local diversity in this in situ morphological radiation is unusual for a continental archipelago.

Camaenid land snails on Barrow Island: distributions, molecular phylogenetics and taxonomic revision
TL;DR: The three camaenids represent deeply divergent lineages with different geographic origins, indicating that the local diversity on Barrow Island has come about through a complex history, and the short-range endemism of these species highlights the conservation significance of Barrow Islands.
