Kessel,Stefan Rieken,Samir Patel,Matthias Guckenberger,Nicolaus Andratschke,Brian D. Kavanagh,Tyler P. Robin +59 more
TL;DR: Results of this study suggest that the primary trade-offs associated with SRS without WBRT, including a shorter TTCP without a decrease in overall survival, are similar to those observed in settings in which SRS is already established.
Stereotactic Radiosurgery With Versus Without Embolization for Brain Arteriovenous Malformations.
Ching-Jen Chen,Dale Ding,Cheng-Chia Lee,Cheng-Chia Lee,Kathryn N. Kearns,I. Jonathan Pomeraniec,Christopher P. Cifarelli,David E. Arsanious,Roman Liscak,Jaromir Hanuska,Brian J. Williams,Mehran Yusuf,Shiao Y. Woo,Natasha Ironside,Ronald E Warnick,Daniel M. Patel,Varun Padmanaban,Nathan Beatson,Anissa Saylany,John Y K Lee,Jason P. Sheehan +31 more
TL;DR: This study refutes the prevalent notion that AVM embolization negatively affects the likelihood of obliteration after SRS, and divides patients into the E + SRS or SRS alone (SRS-only) cohorts.

Role of Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Multi-Institutional Retrospective Study of the International Radiosurgery Research Foundation (IRRF).
Christopher P. Cifarelli,John A. Vargo,Wei Fang,Roman Liscak,Khumar Guseynova,Ronald E Warnick,Cheng-Chia Lee,Huai-Che Yang,Hamid Borghei-Razavi,Tonmoy Maiti,Zaid A. Siddiqui,Justin C. Yuan,Inga S. Grills,David Mathieu,Charles J Touchette,Diogo Cordeiro,Veronica Chiang,Judith Hess,Christopher J Tien,Andrew Faramand,Hideyuki Kano,Gene H. Barnett,Jason P. Sheehan,L. Dade Lunsford +23 more
TL;DR: SRS plays an important role in the management of brain metastases from SCLC, especially in salvage therapy following WBRT, and Ongoing prospective trials will better assess the value of radiosurgery in the primary management of SclC brain metastase and potentially challenge the standard application of WBRTs.

Simon,Heath B. Mackley,Samer G. Zammar,Neel T. Patel,Varun Padmanaban,Nathan Beatson,Anissa Saylany,John Y K Lee,Jason P. Sheehan +30 more
TL;DR: Nidal embolization using Onyx does not appear to differentially impact the outcomes of AVM SRS compared with non-Onyx embolysates.

Earlier radiosurgery leads to better pain relief and less medication usage for trigeminal neuralgia patients: an international multicenter study.
Monica Mureb,Danielle Golub,Carolina Benjamin,Jason Gurewitz,Ben A Strickland,Gabriel Zada,Eric L. Chang,Dušan Urgošík,Roman Liscak,Ronald E Warnick,Herwin Speckter,Skyler Eastman,Anthony M. Sheehan,Douglas Kondziolka +26 more
TL;DR: TN patients managed with SRS within 4 years of diagnosis experienced a shorter interval to pain relief with low risk, and SRS also yielded significant decreases in adjunct medication utilization.
