A Novel Microwave-Mediated One-Pot Synthesis of Indolizines via a Three-Component Reaction.
TL;DR: The microwave-mediated three-component reaction of acyl bromide, pyridine, and acetylene is catalyzed by basic alumina to give corresponding indolizines in excellent yields in a one-pot reaction.

Studies on uracils. 10. A facile one-pot synthesis of pyrido[2,3-d]- and pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines
TL;DR: The reaction of functionalised uracils bearing amino and hydroxyamino groups at C-6 position (4 and 5) with strongly electrophilic cyano olefins (1,2, and 3) gave rise to pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidines 7-9 in excellent yields as discussed by the authors.

TL;DR: The preparation of A-ring and D-ring fused steroidal quinolines is described from one-pot reaction of steroidal β-bromovinylaldehydes and arylamines in solvent-free and catalyst-free condition under microwave irradiation to show promising in vitro activity and antimicrobial activities.

Microwave-assisted palladium mediated efficient synthesis of pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines, pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolines, pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines and pyrazolo[1,5-a]quinazolines
Kommuri Shekarrao,Partha Pratim Kaishap,Venkateshwarlu Saddanapu,Anthony Addlagatta,Sanjib Gogoi,Romesh C. Boruah +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, an efficient method was developed for the synthesis of pyrazole fused heterocycles via the palladium-catalyzed solvent free reaction of β-halovinyl/aryl aldehydes and 3-aminopyrazoles/5-aminopyridines under microwave irradiation in good yields.

ipso‐Hydroxylation of Arylboronic Acids and Boronate Esters by Using Sodium Chlorite as an Oxidant in Water
TL;DR: A facile and efficient procedure for the ipso-hydroxylation of arylboronic acids to phenols in water was developed and the phenolic products were obtained in pure form without any chromatographic purification.
