TL;DR: BRAF V600E PLGG constitutes a distinct entity with poor prognosis when treated with current adjuvant therapy, and additional multivariable clinical and molecular stratification revealed that the extent of resection and CDKN2A deletion contributed independently to poor outcome in BRAF V 600E PL GG.
Tau promotes oxidative stress-associated cycling neurons in S phase as a pro-survival mechanism: Possible implication for Alzheimer’s disease
M. Denechaud,Sarah Geurs,Thomas Comptdaer,Séverine Bégard,Alejandro García-Núñez,Louis-Adrien Pechereau,Thomas Bouillet,Yannick Vermeiren,Peter Paul De Deyn,Romain Perbet,Vincent Deramecourt,Claude-Alain Maurage,Michiel Vanderhaegen,Sebastiaan Vanuytven,Bruno Lefebvre,E. Bogaert,Nicole Déglon,Thierry Voet,Morvane Colin,Luc Buée,Bart Dermaut,Marie-Christine Galas +21 more
TL;DR: Using immunofluorescence, fluorescence-activated nucleus sorting and single-nucleus sequencing, the authors reported an oxidative stress-associated accumulation of nuclear hypophosphorylated tau in a subpopulation of cycling neurons confined in S phase in AD brains, near amyloid plaques.

Associations between fetal heart rate variability and umbilical cord occlusions‐induced neural injury: An experimental study in a fetal sheep model
Louise Ghesquiere,Romain Perbet,Laure Lacan,Yasmine Hamoud,Morgane Stichelbout,Dyuti Sharma,Sylvie Nguyen,Laurent Storme,Véronique Houfflin-Debarge,J. De jonckheere,Charles Garabedian +10 more
TL;DR: This study evaluated the association between fetal heart rate variability (HRV) and the occurrence of hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy in a fetal sheep model.

Accumulation of Tau in Extracellular Vesicles Disturbs the Astrocytic Mitochondrial System
Romain Perbet,Valentin Zufferey,Elodie Leroux,Enea Parietti,Jeanne Espourteille,Lucas Culebras,S Perriot,Renaud Du Pasquier,Séverine Bégard,Vincent Deramecourt,Nicole Déglon,Nicolas Toni,Luc Buée,Morvane Colin,Kevin Richetin +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , extracellular vesicles (EVs) were isolated from primary neurons overexpressing 1N3R or 1N4R tau or from human brain extracts (progressive supranuclear palsy or Pick disease patients or controls) and characterized.
