Backcalculation of pavement layer elastic modulus and thickness with measurement errors
TL;DR: In this article, a backcalculation method for pavement layer elastic modulus and thickness is presented, where the effect of deflection measurement errors on the backcalculated results is also considered.

The Effect of Loading Configuration and Footprint Geometry on Flexible Pavement Response Based on Linear Elastic Theory
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of different footprint geometries with different loading configurations including nonuniform, uniform, and average pressures on the response of flexible pavement is investigated by varying the thickness of the AC layer.

- 28 Aug 2007
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the sensitivity of the pavement response to the RMSE by comparing the response of a pavement section using the exact set of moduli with that using the backcalculated set of pavement moduli, with a RMSE less than 1%.

Effect of Temperature Variation on Pavement Responses Using 3D Multilayered Elastic Analysis
TL;DR: In this article, a powerful and innovative program has been developed utilizing the unique propagator matrix method and the cylindrical system of vector functions to predict accurately and efficiently the response of flexible pavements of any number of layers/sublayers.
