Late emission from SN 1987A
C. Fransson,Roger A. Chevalier +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the late emission from the mantle gas is modeled under the assumption of energy input by gamma rays from Co-56 decay, and the gamma-ray intensity peaks in the 15 solar mass model at an age of 270 days.
Circumstellar interaction and a pulsar nebula in the supernova 1986j
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the circumstellar interaction model for radio supernovae provides an adequate fit to the existing data on supernova SN1986j, which implies a time of explosion of about January 1983 and provides a guide for the future evolution of the radio source.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the first molecular line survey of Supernova 1987A in the millimetre wavelength range, where they detected cold CO, 28SiO, HCO+ and SO, with weaker lines of 29SiO from ejecta.
