Monitoring the Development of Nurse Plant Species to Improve the Performances of Reforestation Programs in Mediterranean Areas
Robin Duponnois,Mohamed Hafidi,Jean Thioulouse,Antoine Galiana,Lahcen Ouahmane,Bernard Dreyfus,Yves Prin +6 more
- 01 Jan 2009
TL;DR: In the Mediterranean basin, a millenarian history of overexploitation has lead to the loss of most primeval forests and an increase of the surface area covered by shrublands that represent stages of degradation of mature forests so human intervention is usually necessary to improve recovery of woodlands.

Sporocarps of Pisolithus albus as an ecological niche for fluorescent pseudomonads involved in Acacia mangium Wild - Pisolithus albus ectomycorrhizal symbiosis.
Robin Duponnois,Didier Lesueur +1 more
TL;DR: Observations suggest that these bacteria are closely associated with the Pisolithus fructifications and could interact with the ectomycorrhizal symbiosis establishment.

Effect of inoculation by Moroccan rock phosphate solubilizing rhizobia, Versus phosphorus fertilization, on the growth and the phosphorus uptake by Vicia faba
Tasnime Maghraoui,Noura Bechtaoui,Antoine Galiana,Sanaa Wahbi,Robin Duponnois,Mohamed Hafidi,Khalid Daoui,Zain El Abidine Fatemi,Philippe de Lajudie,Khalid Oufdou +9 more
TL;DR: The capacity of rhizobial strains nodulating Vicia faba L. plants in Marrakech-Haouz region (Morocco) to solubilize Moroccan rock phosphate in vitro in either agar or liquid medium is evidence and the adaptation of the inoculated plants to phosphorus deficiency conditions is evaluated.

Intraspecific variability of Pisolithus spp. as a response to changes in soil characteristics in a Moroccan cork oak plantation
Salah Eddine Bakkali Yakhlef,Mohamed Abourouh,Marc Ducousso,Robin Duponnois,Christine Delaruelle,Daniel Mousain +5 more
TL;DR: The results show the local-scale impact of natural spatial heterogeneity on an ectomycorrhizal fungal genus as well as the importance of soil characteristics in structuring fungal communities.
