Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and pain progression with enzalutamide (ENZ) in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) from the ARCHES study.
Arnulf Stenzl,Curtis Dunshee,Ugo De Giorgi,Boris Alekseev,Taro Iguchi,Russell Z. Szmulewitz,Thomas W. Flaig,Bertrand F. Tombal,Robert Morlock,Cristina Ivanescu,Krishnan Ramaswamy,Fred Saad,Andrew J. Armstrong +12 more
TL;DR: The Phase 3 ARCHES trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of ENZ + androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) vs placebo (PBO) + ADT in 1150 men with mHSPC and reported positive results.

Prolonged urinary and bowel symptom control in men with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) treated with enzalutamide: Results from the PROSPER study
Bertrand Tombal,Maha Hussain,David F. Penson,Gerhardt Attard,Cora N. Sternberg,De Phung,Robert Morlock,Katharina Modelska,Krishnan Ramaswamy,Cristina Ivanescu,Fred Saad +10 more

Association between urinary, bowel, and hormonal treatment-related symptoms and clinical outcomes in nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC): PROSPER study.
TL;DR: A ≥50% PSA reduction from BL is associated with a reduction in risk for urinary, bowel, and hormonal treatment-related symptom worsening; changes in urinary symptoms from BL also predict metastases.

Effect of Enzalutamide plus Androgen Deprivation Therapy on Health-related Quality of Life in Patients with Metastatic Hormone-sensitive Prostate Cancer: An Analysis of the ARCHES Randomised, Placebo-controlled, Phase 3 Study
Arnulf Stenzl,Curtis Dunshee,Ugo De Giorgi,Boris Alekseev,Taro Iguchi,Russell Z. Szmulewitz,Thomas W. Flaig,Bertrand Tombal,Robert Morlock,Cristina Ivanescu,Krishnan Ramaswamy,Fred Saad,Andrew J. Armstrong +12 more
TL;DR: Ezalutamide plus ADT enables men with mHSPC to maintain high-functioning HRQoL and low symptom burden and delayed TTFD in worst pain and clinically meaningful deterioration in health-related quality of life (HRZoL) and pain.
Patient-reported outcomes following enzalutamide or placebo in men with non-metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer (PROSPER): a multicentre, randomised, double-blind, phase 3 trial.
Bertrand Tombal,Fred Saad,David F. Penson,Maha Hussain,Cora N. Sternberg,Robert Morlock,Krishnan Ramaswamy,Cristina Ivanescu,Gerhardt Attard +8 more
TL;DR: The results of patient-reported outcomes of this study report that enzalutamide significantly improved metastasis-free survival in patients with non-metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer and health-related quality of life and pain progression as assessed by the Brief Pain Inventory Short Form.
