C3435T polymorphism of the ABCB1 gene: impact on genetic susceptibility to peptic ulcers
Aleksandra Sałagacka,Malwina Bartczak,Marta Żebrowska,Marcin Jażdżyk,Mariusz Balcerczak,Robert Janiuk,Marek Mirowski,Ewa Balcerczak +7 more
TL;DR: The isolated C3435T ABCB1 SNP is not a major factor for genetic susceptibility to peptic ulcer, but in a group of men who suffered from peptic Ulcer, this polymorphism seemed to be a risk factor for H. pylori infection development.

Investigation of ABCB1 1236 and 2677 SNPs in patients with peptic ulcer.
Marta Żebrowska,Marcin Jażdżyk,Aleksandra Sałagacka,Mariusz Balcerczak,Robert Janiuk,Marek Mirowski,Ewa Balcerczak +6 more
TL;DR: The TT genotype and the mutated allele T for the polymorphisms 1236 and 2677 could increase peptic ulcer risk and ABCB1 1236 polymorphism may also be associated with an increased likelihood of H. pylori infection development, especially in women.

Expression of the P65 gene in gastric cancer and in tissues with or without Helicobacter pylori infection.
Ewa Balcerczak,Jankowski T,Becht A,Mariusz Balcerczak,Robert Janiuk,Dorota Jesionek-Kupnicka,Sztompka J,Marek Mirowski +7 more
TL;DR: In the group of gastric cancers, similarly to colorectal cancer, P65 gene expression was connected with poor clinicopathological parameters as T3, lymph nodes and distant metastases and there was no dependence between P65Gene expression and H. pylori infection.
