Relative roles of follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone in the control of inhibin secretion in normal men.
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of selective FSH and LH replacement on serum inhibin levels in normal men whose endogenous gonadotropins were suppressed by testosterone (T) were examined.
Serum Inhibin Concentrations before and during Gonadotropin Treatment in Men with Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism: Physiological and Clinical Implications
TL;DR: In the 7 patients with postpubertal hypogonadism, treatment with hCG alone for 6 months increased the serum testosterone concentration and maximum sperm count to normal, even though the previously normal inhibin concentration was not increased further.

Follicle-stimulating hormone is required for quantitatively normal inhibin secretion in men.
TL;DR: It is concluded that FSH is not absolutely required for inhibin secretion in men; and the maintenance of quantitatively normal inhibitedin secretion requires the combined action of both gonadotropins.
