Multicriteria analysis can be incorporated as a method to model preferences and facilitate decision making within a group of decision makers. In this paper we present a Group Decision Support System model, which utilizes multicriteria analysis to support decisions in a collaborative team. In brief the model is based on the synthesis of group members' preferences following an appropriate aggregation procedure. The resulting group preference is used as input for the relevant multicriteria methodology to produce the decision outcome. In this paper we present a variation focusing on classification decisions in group setting. We outline the overall methodology as well as the architecture of a prototype group decision support system and present an application in a financial classification problem.

Although decision complexity increases by the number of the participating decision makers, in many cases it is necessary to combine experts' knowledge to minimize risk. Banking sector is a domain where decision makers face decision problems and need appropriate methodologies and tools to support them. However, complexity in tools and methodologies directs them to follow less structured methodologies, mostly heuristic based. Facilitating Group Decisions through Multicriteria Analysis and Agent Based Modeling

Group decisions are more complex compared to single decision making, because a number of contradicting factors are involved. These include individuals' personal opinions, goals and stakes resulting in a social procedure, where negotiation and strategy plays a critical role. In this paper we present an integrated intelligent module for the development of a Group Decision Support System. The approach is based on muliticirteria analysis, and aims to facilitate decisions in the financial sector.

An Interactive Web Based Decision Support System for Financial Decisions within a Team

This paper proposes a group decision model for the assessment of credit/loan applications by a team. As many new players enter the finance sector, offering new products and different forms of financing, it is important that credit applications are assessed from multiple angles including the marketing and risk management sides. While external organisations offer independent ratings and credit reports of potential applicants, lending firms need to take into account internal criteria in order to effectively allocate and grant credit to their customers. Individual products target specific customer profiles:in this paper we propose a tool to support the multicriteria assessment and classification of the applicants' profile aiming for a good match between the product and the customer. This will look at expanding the firm's customer base with a reduced risk of bad credit.

Rapid developments in retail electronic payments industry increase complexity and result in fragmented view of the market. Key players in the domain need compact tools for analysis and decision support. This paper proposes a generic value framework for retail electronic payments industry, which is based on the concept of value network and consists part of an ongoing work towards an integrated decision support environment for actors in the payments industry. We use value network approach for the analysis of retail electronic payments aiming to provide a useful tool for better understanding of payments domain.
