Patent
Continuous process for fabricating solar cells and the product produced thereby
Czeslaw Deminet,William E. Horne,Richard E. Oettel +2 more
- 06 Jul 1976
TL;DR: In this paper, the solar cell product produced by the above-process may be fabricated in large surface area configurations, suitable for terrestrial as well as extra-terrestrial use, at relatively low cost.

Patent
Process for fabricating glass-encapsulated solar cell arrays and the product produced thereby
Czeslaw Deminet,Richard E. Oettel +1 more
- 14 Jul 1978
TL;DR: In this article, a pattern of indentations and adjacent boundary ridges in a base layer of glass is formed, and a solar cell is placed into each indentation in the base glass layer in such a manner that the lower surface of the solar cell comes in electrical contact with one end of a first connecting element, and then a top glass layer which is in intimate contact with the product of steps 1-4.

Patent
Continuous Process for Fabricating Solar Cells
Deminet Czeslaw,William E. Horne,Richard E. Oettel +2 more
- 26 Apr 1979
TL;DR: In this paper, a solar cell is fabricated in large surface area configurations by forming a glass sheet and depositing small-grain polycrystalline silicon in a thin film on the first electrode layer.

Continuous production of solar cells - by depositing small grain semiconductor material and recrystallisation
Czeslaw Deminet,William E. Horne,Richard E. Oettel +2 more
- 30 Apr 1979
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a deposition process for large area configuration solar cells, which allows continuous production of large-scale solar cells using a slice-and-polish process, rather than a slice and polish process.
