TL;DR: In this article, a rigorous combination of the data from five space geodetic techniques (VLBI, GPS, SLR, LLR and DORIS) is routinely applied to simultaneously determine a Terrestrial reference frame (TRF) and Earth Orientation Parameters (EOP).
