Generalized Make and Use Framework for Allocation in Life Cycle Assessment
TL;DR: It is shown that the matrix-based approach used for system expansion successfully solves the endless regression problem that has been raised in LCA literature, and it is argued that the commodity-technology model and the by-product- technology model are essentially equivalent when it comes to practical applications.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the LC-IMPACT method that provides characterization factors at the damage level for 11 impact categories related to three areas of protection (human health, ecosystem quality, natural resources).
Modelling global material stocks and flows for residential and service sector buildings towards 2050
Sebastiaan Deetman,Sebastiaan Deetman,Sylvia Marinova,Ester van der Voet,Detlef P. van Vuuren,Detlef P. van Vuuren,Oreane Y. Edelenbosch,Reinout Heijungs,Reinout Heijungs +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a model that looks at total global building stock for 26 regions between 1970 and 2050 and calculates the floor space and building materials both in new buildings and in demolished buildings.

Methods for uncertainty propagation in life cycle assessment
TL;DR: Latin hypercube and quasi Monte Carlo sampling provide more accuracy in determining the sample mean than Monte Carlo samplers and can even converge faster thanMonte Carlo sampling for some of the case studies discussed in this paper.
