Plasma Diagnostic Techniques
Chiow San Wong,Rattachat Mongkolnavin +1 more
- 01 Jan 2016
TL;DR: Some of the basic diagnostic techniques that are useful for studying various types of plasmas are described in this paper, including electrical measurements (discharge current and voltage across the plasma), spectroscopic measurements, the Langmuir probe, X-ray and neutron measurements.

Improvement of early cell adhesion on Thai silk fibroin surface by low energy plasma.
Phakdee Amornsudthiwat,Rattachat Mongkolnavin,Sorada Kanokpanont,Joongjai Panpranot,Chiow San Wong,Siriporn Damrongsakkul +5 more
TL;DR: It could be concluded that a lower energy AC50Hz plasma system enhanced early L929 mouse fibroblast adhesion on Thai silk fibroin surface without any significant change in surface topography and bulk chemistry.

The effects of pulsed inductively coupled plasma (PICP) on physical properties and biocompatibility of crosslinked gelatin films.
TL;DR: PICP is a potential method for crosslinked gelatin surface modification for future tissue engineering applications and the result from AFM revealed that surface roughness of cross linked gelatin film was introduced when PICP treatment was applied.

Surface modification of dehydrothermal crosslinked gelatin film using a 50 Hz oxygen glow discharge
TL;DR: In this paper, an oxygen glow discharge using AC 50 Hz was used for the treatment of type A gelatin film crosslinked by dehydrothermal (DHT) process and the effects of plasma on the properties of gelatin films were investigated.
