Widespread Mitochondrial Depletion via Mitophagy Does Not Compromise Necroptosis
Stephen W.G. Tait,Andrew Oberst,Giovanni Quarato,Sandra Milasta,Martina Haller,Ruoning Wang,Maria Karvela,Gabriel Ichim,Nader Yatim,Matthew L. Albert,Grahame J. Kidd,Randall Wakefield,Sharon Frase,Stefan Krautwald,Andreas Linkermann,Douglas R. Green +15 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that mitochondrial ROS production accompanies, but does not cause, RIPK3-dependent necroptotic cell death.

Sequential Engagement of Distinct MLKL Phosphatidylinositol-Binding Sites Executes Necroptosis
Giovanni Quarato,Cliff Guy,Christy R. Grace,Fabien Llambi,Amanda Nourse,Diego A. Rodriguez,Randall Wakefield,Sharon Frase,Tudor Moldoveanu,Douglas R. Green +9 more
TL;DR: The hierarchical transduction of structural changes in MLKL that culminate in necroptosis are characterized and PI(4,5)P2 is the preferred PIP-binding partner.

Metabolic control of TFH cells and humoral immunity by phosphatidylethanolamine.
Guotong Fu,Clifford S. Guy,Nicole M. Chapman,Gustavo Palacios,Jun Wei,Peipei Zhou,Lingyun Long,Yong-Dong Wang,Chenxi Qian,Yogesh Dhungana,Hongling Huang,Anil Kc,Hao Shi,Sherri Rankin,Scott A. Brown,Amanda Johnson,Randall Wakefield,Camenzind G. Robinson,Xueyan Liu,Anthony Sheyn,Anthony Sheyn,Jiyang Yu,Suzanne Jackowski,Hongbo Chi +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the cytidine diphosphate-ethanolamine pathway co-ordinates the expression and localization of CXCR5 with the responses of TFH cells and humoral immunity.

Siah2 integrates mitogenic and extracellular matrix signals linking neuronal progenitor ciliogenesis with germinal zone occupancy
TL;DR: It is found that Shh maintains Siah2 expression in CGN progenitors (GNPs) in a Ras/Mapk-dependent manner and that GNPs respond to laminin, but not vitronectin, in the microenvironment via integrin β1 receptors, which engages the Ras/ Mapk cascade, and that this niche interaction is essential for promoting GNP ciliogenesis.
Mitochondrial proteostasis regulated by CRL5Ozz and Alix modulates skeletal muscle metabolism and fiber type.
