A Unique Substituted Co(II)-Formate Coordination Framework Exhibits Weak Ferromagnetic Single-Chain-Magnet Like Behavior
Jiong-Peng Zhao,Jiong-Peng Zhao,Qian Yang,Zhong-Yi Liu,Ran Zhao,Bo-Wen Hu,Miao Du,Ze Chang,Xian-He Bu +8 more
TL;DR: A magnetic isolated chain-based substituted cobalt-formate framework was obtained with isonicotine as a spacer, and the complex could be considered as a peculiar example of a weak ferromagnetic single-chain-magnet.

Magnetocaloric effect and slow magnetic relaxation in two only azido bridged ferromagnetic tetranuclear metal clusters
TL;DR: Two M(II) tetranuclear complexes bridged only by azido, Mn4 (N3)(7.3)Cl(0.7)L4 (1) and Co4(N3)8L4(2) (2), obtained by using 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one (L) as a corner ligand, indicate that ferromagnetic coupling was conducted by the azido anions between M( II) ions.
A heterometallic strategy to achieve a large magnetocaloric effect in polymeric 3d complexes
Jiong-Peng Zhao,Jiong-Peng Zhao,Song-De Han,Xue Jiang,Sui-Jun Liu,Ran Zhao,Ze Chang,Xian-He Bu +7 more
TL;DR: Metal formate frameworks [A][CrMn(HCOO)6] (A = CH3NH2CH3(+) for 1 andCH3NH3(+ for 2) with a large MCE were obtained, directed by the heterometallic strategy in which very weak magnetic interactions were achieved.

Azido-Directed Formation of An Unprecedented Mn(II)-Organic Framework with Nanoscale Cubic Cage Units
TL;DR: In this article, a topological three-dimensional Mn(II)-organic framework based on an unprecedented nanoscale cage has been hydrothermally synthesized, and dominating antiferromagnetic interactions were detected between the MnII ions in 1.

One pot synthesis of heterometallic 3d-3d azido architectures: assembling strategy and magnetic properties.
Jiong-Peng Zhao,Jiong-Peng Zhao,Ran Zhao,Qian Yang,Wei-Chao Song,Bo-Wen Hu,Xiao-Feng Zhang,Xian-He Bu +7 more
TL;DR: Assembling Cu(II), M(II) (M = Ni and Co), azido and nicotinic acid in hydrothermal condition, two novel isomorphic 3D heterometallic 3d-3d azido complexes, [CuM(N(3))(2)(nicotinate)(2)](∞) ( M = Ni(II] for 1 and Co( II) for 2) were obtained.
