A gold nanoparticle platform for the delivery of functional microRNAs into cancer cells.
TL;DR: A robust method for delivering unmodified microRNAs into cells on cysteamine-functionalized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is developed and found that the best formulation of miR(1)-AuNP(10)-S-PEG(0.5) had the highest payload, lowest toxicity, efficient uptake, and fastest endosomal escape.

The discovery of potent small molecule activators of human STING.
David C. Pryde,Sandip Middya,Monali Banerjee,Ritesh Shrivastava,Sourav Basu,Rajib Ghosh,Dharmendra B. Yadav,Arjun Surya +7 more
TL;DR: This study has identified several related series of potent small molecule human STING activators with potential to be developed as immunomodulatory therapeutics.

G10 is a direct activator of human STING.
Monali Banerjee,Sandip Middya,Ritesh Shrivastava,Sourav Basu,Rajib Ghosh,David C. Pryde,Dharmendra B. Yadav,Arjun Surya +7 more
TL;DR: An in vitro kinase assay is used to show that G10, a previously identified STING pathway activator is actually a weak but direct STING agonist and identifies other more potent leads.
Acquisition of cancer stem cell-like properties in human small airway epithelial cells after a long-term exposure to carbon nanomaterials
Chayanin Kiratipaiboon,Todd A. Stueckle,Rajib Ghosh,Liying W. Rojanasakul,Yi Charlie Chen,Cerasela Zoica Dinu,Yon Rojanasakul +6 more
TL;DR: Findings support the potential carcinogenicity of high aspect ratio CNMs and identified molecular targets and signaling pathways that may contribute to the disease development.
Abstract LB-061: CRD5500: A versatile small molecule STING agonist amenable to bioconjugation as an ADC
Monali Banerjee,Sourav Basu,Sandip Middya,Ritesh Shrivastava,Rajib Ghosh,David C. Pryde,Dharmendra Yadav,Gopal Bhattacharya,Thanilsana Soram,Kavita Puniya,Ritika Raina,Vijay Kadam,Sujay Garai,Priti Sharma,Anuj Singh,Vaibhav Shinde,Nidhi Rawat,Anindita Middya,Arghyotri Sinha,Sunita Chandel,Ganesh Narisipuram,Abhisek Chatterjee,Nagaswamy Mane,Arjun Surya +23 more
TL;DR: The ability of hSTING agonists to generate Type 1 IFN anti-tumor immune responses makes them a promising therapeutic option either as a single agent or in combination with other therapies.
